Canon Mf3010 Printer Driver For Windows Server 2003
DriversDownloader.com have all drivers for Windows 8, 7, Vista and XP. And for Windows 10, you can get it from here: Windows 10 drivers download. From this website, you can find find almost drivers for the Dell, Acer, Lenovo, HP, Sony, Toshiba, AMD, NVIDIA, etc manufacturers.
I'm going to start rolling out our first 64-bit Windows 7 machines soon, and I'm making sure that everything will work with our existing print server. Our print server is a 32-bit Windows Server 2003. I'm running into some snags getting the HP print drivers to work. For our other printers and plotters (Canon, KIP), I just had to add the 64-bit drivers using the Print Management console and just browsing out to the specific INF files when it asks for a disk. However, the HP drivers are only offered as an executable installer that won't run, and are also supposedly built in to the operating system.
Since my print server is 32 bit, it doesn't have the 64 bit drivers for the LaserJets or DesignJets, so I can't add them to the Win7 workstations. Windows 7 should already have them, but when I try to add the printer it says it can't find the drivers. I've tried using the installer for the Windows Server 2003 for some models (LJ 8150), because these actually have specific drivers as opposed to the Universal drivers available for Windows 7, but it's not working. I extract the files locally and then browse out to the INF when it asks for a disk, but then it says it needs NTPRINT.INF. I've copied this file from both the Win7 workstation, and also from my XP workstation, but neither one would work. The printers I'm trying to use are HP LaserJet 8100, LaserJet 8150, DesignJet 800, DesignJet 1050C, and maybe a few more smaller HP personal/desktop printers.

Is there anything that I can do without having to set up a new 64-bit print server? Try running the installer on a win7 64-bit workstation. Once it's there and functioning you can then add the network shared printer and it will use the local drivers you just installed. Once you have the network printer showing in Printers and Devices on the win7 64 workstation, open the printer properties of the network printer, go to the sharing tab, additional drivers and check the 64 bit box. It should 'pull' the drivers from your win7 64 workstation backwards (IMO) up to the server and install them there where they need to be so tht other win7 x64 workstations can find, download and install the driver when they connect to it. The only thing is that the printer name and version # in the driver files themselves have to be exactly identical.
This is less a problem now than it was a couple years ago when Vista Business 64 was just getting started. I have 1050C's serving both 32 & 64bit drivers from a 2003 Print server. Like said you MUST use a 64bit workstation to load these drivers. DON'T use the Installer! Also don't install it on the Win7 Workstation Get the drivers from HP direct (32 and 64bit packages - just verify they are the same version / release dates) Extract them to a temp folder in win7 / vista 64bit load > print management start > print management connect to your print server if the printer already exists then just update the drivers update both 32 and 64bit so the version match perfectly Should work great. Ours do except for darn Savin / Ricoh - can't select mailbox output trays without crashing the print driver on 64bit workstations.argh.
Thanks for the reply MarkFaccin, that sounded like a good idea. I have tried to install the LaserJet 8150 on the Win7 workstation by adding a network printer.
It says 'No Driver Found' and won't give me an option to browse out to the INF file. Radio shack pro 508 scanner. I tried installing the Universal Print Driver (both PCL6 and PS3) on the workstation using Traditional Mode, and get the same error when I point it to the network printer.
Then I installed the Universal Print Driver (both) on the workstation in Dynaminc Mode, which doesn't ask for a specific printer, thinking that would just load the drivers and then I could add the printer later. Same error when I try to add the networked printer as mentioned above, but this time when I click OK it asked me to browse out to the INF. But then I browse to the specific INF for the 8150, and no dice.
Sounded promising to put the drivers on the local machine first, but for some reason it didn't like that. I checked and rechecked to make sure i'm using the right packages from HP, but i still won't let me add the printer from the print server.
