When I bought my SP, the dealer actually made me and another buyer raise our right hands and swear we would shoot teh guns with factory settings before messing with them. He claimed it was becasue 'once we were used to them, we would become better shooters'.

This is probobly true but I'm guessing ( in hind sight) that he was tired of fixing triggers that had been messed with. Anyway, I made it 3 months but decided i wanted the first stage almost dialed out as it was on my match air pistol. Anyway, I have since played extensively with all the trigger setting. The thing to note is that most of teh adjustments are all inter-related and can actually make the trigger worse/non-functional once you start turning screws. If I were you, I'd write down each and every 1/2 turn on each and every adjustment screw so that I could back track to the begining if you get into trouble.

My has three screws in the frame in a triangle. And one inside the frame on the trigger assemble. The directions they sent show only two screws in the frame and one inside the frame on the trigger assemble. What does yours have?
