The Engine still runs strong, and the transmission, and 4×4 work surprisingly well. I registered the car last year and then non oped it when I realized I was not going to move it anytime soon, so you do not need to worry about ridiculous backed up fees. The car does need work as it is a project, but it is definitely a good start.

There is significant rust, but it is a 65 year old car so that is expected. What needs attention at the moment to get it running appropriately are the brakes and a battery, but other than that there is nothing necessary to make it a movable car. Pretty reliable old truck, and also very rare. You just don’t see these forward control pickups in as rust free condition as this one is.
