I had a software update in my 2014 C4 Picasso in July and it is much better. It is now faster to use and some of the buttons have moved location. Still not perfect but so much faster that it is now OK to use rather than a nuisance. Copy the folder 'SMEG_PLUS_UPG' on the usb key. (the folder itself, not juste its contents) Plug the usb key in the glove box, the system check the files and ask you for update.

Say yes and wait approx. Don't stop engine or remove the key during update. The system reboot and it's done!

That's my method. Works fine for each update on my 308. (it's not my best english, I hope it's understanding).
