I've always been fascinated by this piece. Not because of the title, but because I could never believe that someone wrote something so 'modern' sounding so long ago. It could have been written yesterday! Thank you so much for your arrangement. I've loved this piece ever since Parkening recorded it and I ran right out and bought his arrangement as soon as it hit the stores.
Unfortunately, I'm not Parkening. There are some spots that just tie my fingers in knots. Later, I found another arrangement, but it was even harder! You seem to have very cleverly solved these problem spots and produced an arrangement that is assuredly playable. As Delcamp's resident editor, I found two spots where the fingerings might be typos: At measure 30, it looks like you meant for the 3rd finger to stay on the C the whole time right?
At measure 46, you probably mean for the 2nd half of the measure to be fingered the same way as the second half of measure 44? That's all I could find. Brilliant job! Now I can play this piece! Hallo Les, thank you for sharing your work with us!
It is a pleasure to play this piece. As you have suggested, a fine walking tempo for the halves seems to me best for getting the right mood out of this lovely Rondo. In my opinion, the piano- and clavecin-versions which are played too fast are merely a hurry through the score. Last but not least, I agree with better to have a readble score and have in mind to let ring the notes. It is like folk picking, indeed. Trying myself serveral keys for getting an optimal fingering C-Major seems to be the least worse Only, I would like to suggest a slightly different fingering: If you like try in bar 2 no barre and the g with 2, in bar 4 a with 3, c with 2, f with 2, in bar 6 again no barre and the g with 1, d with 3, high g with 4 and the f with 2. Thank you again for your fine work!

Regards, Marco.
