Then I met the horror of the Intel GMA 3600. An old video adapter with bad drivers. I'm not sure whether a new build of Windows 10 is the problem but trying to install the Windows 7 Intel 3600 GMA drivers no longer works on my Hp Mini 210 4000 series laptop. I get BSOD on start up after restarting - or just after driver installation has completed (and I've tried different driver versions, running in admin, running in compatibility mode, running in safe mode etc etc). Search engine results and a more recent Tweet reveal that Intel has given up on producing a Windows 10 GMA 3600 driver. Very disappointing.

Really, really, really need Microsoft TO HELP US NOW. Please help Microsoft! Also irritating is that my mother's older series HP Mini is happily running Windows 10 on the Microsoft WDDM drivers for its much older GMA adapter!!!!!! Could someone from Microsoft at least respond as whether this is feasible or not, especially the one year free upgrade is ending in few months. By the way, I have read somewhere that if you don't install the GMA 3600 Intel driver and use the basic Microsoft graphics driver, windows 10 will work but I haven't tried it.

Hi all, Is anyone else (or everyone else) have an issue with dual-monitor setups as far as resolutions are concerned? I am an AV engineer and programmer and I had my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro hooked up to a Crestron DigitalMedia video system, which is really some of the best display processing and routing out there. The laptop kept outputting 1920x1200 no matter what the resolution for MON 2 was set to in Display Settings (or Advanced Display Settings). I changed it to 1280x720 and while Windows said that's what it was, that's not what was showing up at the video switcher.

I rebooted back to Windows 8.1 (dual-boot) and everything was fine. I downloaded the GMA drivers for Windows 8.1 and Have Disk installed them to Win10, and it didn't fix anything. Very strange. The problems i faced after initial Windows 10 upgrade are as follows: 1. Intel GMA 3600 driver incompatibility locked the resolution at 800x600 resulting in improper display of several applications. HDMI and VGA ports stopped functioning.

Screen brightness was not controlled any more. In fact i was expecting a solution in the form of compatible updated drivers for the intel GMA 3600 series. None of my problem was solved with this upgrade.
