Looking at a used Glock 19 Gen 4, I'm curious about when it was made. The serial number should be WWF878 (from the sale tag, not the pistol--I went back without much time and didn't handle it when I got the SN.) I thought it would be fairly easy to find the date of manufacture with that information, but all I've been able to find are the 'research' thread on Glocktalk and mirrors of that database elsewhere. Might be the information I want is in there, but I didn't find it.
Can anybody here give me an idea of the date of manufacture, or better yet, a good resource to search these for myself? Longsword chronicles by g. j. kelly - sam2085 free download programs free. If I recall correctly, GlockTalk or one of the other specific forums had a crowdsourcing project to identify and track serial ranges to dates purchased or seen in retail channel. Can't vouch for the accuracy, but last time I went to look it seemed appropriate for the examples I had in hand. I believe they are missing larger organizational purchase ranges / dates. Of course these have a distinct US bias - overseas examples certainly did not match up in the same manner, but it was tough to tell if this was due to shipping / customs clearance issues, other channel reasons, or what. (There are many interesting ways in which Glock products move in what one used to call the customary exchanges of international trade, and I would not wager on any specific cause). Mostly idle wondering..
Ableton will register normally. Ableton 9 authorization code. Now install a non listed application in PlayOnLinux select the ableton 9 drive location and launch the patch. Patch the ableton exe (it will ask for the file location) and explore the ~/PlayOnLinux's virtual drives/AbletonLive9/drive_c/ProgramData/Ableton/Live 9 Suite/Program/ directory to find the.auz file (keep this folder opened) Open ableton from PlayOnLinux, drag and drop the auz file and wait.
People talk about later Gen4's and earlier Gen3's being less likely to have ejection problems. This one is available in like-new condition, but not at a huge discount over new.
I kinda figured if it was early enough to make it a risk, I'd just pay the extra for a new one or possibly grab an older Gen3 police trade-in. Another advantage of buying new is that I can buy from the LGS I prefer, so maybe I should just quit over-thinking and go do that. But now I'm curious.. Thanks for the Glock number! Can't get to their website at work.

But now I'm curious.. Thanks for the Glock number! Can't get to their website at work. They're talking about stuff that is now 2 or more years old now. Even then, it focuses on the gun at large and not all the variables in play. My usual advice: Buy one and shoot it, worry less about the interwebs.
